8 out of 8!!!!!!

I have been slacking with my posting the last week- I will make up for it today! First I have to share a cool moment. One of the best things about keeping chickens is every day is like Christmas morning- the ladies leave gifts:-) It is amazing to see what they produce - besides kick ass fertilizer. Last week I collected 8 eggs in one day. That means everyone laid! Usually I get 5 - 6 so that was a real bonanza. As Andy Schneider, The Chicken Whisperer, describes it- they are "pets with benefits".
